Yes, the free content is really free for you to download and share. Note that only non-copyrighted material can be shared. Mobilespin.net is not connected to any mobile carrier. Most content is submitted and shared by the other members. However, if you download through your mobile internet WAP browser, your mobile carrier may or may not charge you. You should check with your mobile carrier to find out if they charge for data transfers, GPRS/WAP services and usage.

Are the ringtones available in iPhone format?
Yes, all ringtones are available in iPhone format. When you get to the download page, choose "iPhone (m4r)" from the "Select format" drop down

How do I make an iPhone ringtone?
Go to the ringtone tool, upload your file and clip the portion you want to make into a ringtone. Then, in the download page, choose "iPhone (m4r)" from the "Select format" drop down and download the file to your Mac or PC. Import the M4R file to iTunes and Sync with your iPhone. Remember: if you are uploading an MP3 or WAV file from your iTunes library into the ringtone tool, you have to make sure that it is a non-DRM file.

Can I make a ringtone from a Youtube Video?
Yes, the ringtone tool allows you to enter the Youtube URL of your favorite video and turn it into a ringtone.

How would I know which size wallpaper to pick for my cell phone?
You can easily find out such information about your mobile phone from the manufacturer web site. They all provide detailed specs, such as screen size.

How do I download say a wallpaper directly to my phone?
There are 2 ways to do this in the download page:
1) Direct Download - Register your phone number with Zeep Mobile (done free of charge, securely and only once) in your "Account Settings" page and click on "Send to my phone" button in the download page. You will receive an SMS with the link to your wallpaper. Once you click on the link the download will start.

2) Manual download - Follow the instructions on the download page:
1- Type and then Bookmark our WAP page wap.mobilespin.net to your bookmarks on your mobile phone's browser.
2- When you get to our WAP site, just enter the code we provide you in the download page in the input box (below the heading 1- Type your WAP code in the box below:)
3- Click on the link below the input box (Click on the link to start the download) and the downloading will start.

How do I download content to my PC?
Just click on the download button in the download page and the content will be downloaded to your PC. Then you can use USB cable, Bluetooth, IR or a memory card reader to download to your phone.

Verizon does not allow direct downloads from any site but their own, correct? Is there any way I can download ringtones and wallpapers to my Verizon phone?
That is correct, Verizon does not allow direct downloads. One thing you might try is download the ringtone or wallpaper to your PC first and then send a MMS message with the ringtone or wallpaper as an attachment to your phone. You can then open and save the attachment as ringtone or wallpaper. This may or may not work depending on your phone.

The ringtone I uploaded is not there anymore, what happened?
If your ringtone is more than 3 months old or if the ringtone is in the wrong category, it will be deleted. However, feel free to upload that same ringtone again.
Your ringtone may have also been deleted due to inappropriate content, in which case we will ask you to please refrain from uploading it again.
